Harrington Aviation Museum

The Harrington Aviation Museums is made up of the Carpetbagger Aviation and Secret War Museums. These two museums offer a unique look at the Top Secret base for the 801st/492nd American Eighth Air Force Bombardment Group in the Second World War.

The displays show the history of the airfield and those who were there, particularly during Operation Carpetbagger and secret missions to make deliveries (of supplies and agents) to resistance groups in Occupied Europe.
